Along with our volunteers, we partner with existing indigenous and local groups to assist with food security, resources and education.
It has always been our desire to have a mamas house in every community that were in, and to have real estate property from which to operate and make provisions from.
Training for parents and leaders are an integral part of sustaining the community as well.
We are thankful for our family members who participate in our efforts, and for all of the donors and participants who help us along the way.
Our mission has always been centered around:
Developing youths for adulthood, and preparing adults to live successfully - emotionally, socially, physically, and economically in the community.

Mama's House began literally as a 'grassroots' Kid's Club in a Pittsburg, CA apartment complex. We gathered the area children together and began holding weekly Bible studies, games, social outings, and life skill type educational classes. We assisted parents in helping their children to grow spiritually and socially in a multicultural setting. We nurtured our youth into obedience, submission and respect. A nurturing Mama makes all the difference.
In the beginning, we developed our own ‘homemade’ curriculum derived from magazines, educational sources, the Bible, etc. After hosting a community-wide Health Fair in 2003, we knew that we wanted to become a nonprofit organization.
